Shocker's Costume Revealed in SPIDER-MAN: HOMECOMING Promo Art
We've known that Shocker would be one of the villains introduced in Spider-Man: Homecoming and that he would be played by Bokeem Woodbine. The character was teased in the international trailer as he wields some kind of power gauntlet. Now today, thanks to Eric Cameron Films, we've got a first look at Shocker's costume in the film thanks to some promo art he came across at New York Toy Fair.
We didn't really know if Herman Schultz, aka the Shocker, would actually be suiting up in Spider-Man: Homecoming, but it looks like he will, and he'll be sporting a comic-accurate black and yellow suit. The suit design isn't 100% the version from the comics, but it's still got that Shocker look to it.
A young Peter Parker/Spider-Man (Tom Holland), who made his sensational debut in Captain America: Civil War, begins to navigate his newfound identity as the web-slinging super hero in Spider-Man: Homecoming. Thrilled by his experience with the Avengers, Peter returns home, where he lives with his Aunt May (Marisa Tomei), under the watchful eye of his new mentor Tony Stark (Robert Downey, Jr.). Peter tries to fall back into his normal daily routine β distracted by thoughts of proving himself to be more than just your friendly neighborhood Spider-Man β but when the Vulture (Michael Keaton) emerges as a new villain, everything that Peter holds most important will be threatened.
Spider-Man: Homecoming is set to be released on July 7th, 2017.
