Shoot 360º Action Videos With 360fly

Almost a year ago I participated in my first Tough Mudder. It was a lot of fun and a couple of the guys in my group had GoPros. The only problem is you're working so hard to survive the event that you can't focus on getting a good shot.

360fly offers a great solution that is more immersive and interactive. It uses a special lens to shoot in a 360º bubble around you. Based on the video I've embedded the quality seems really good. 360fly shoots 1504×1504 at 30fps to 16GB of internal storage. From what I've hear of the battery life of GoPro cameras, you're likely to run out of battery before storage. 360fly can be mounted on helmets, surfboards, etc. It's currently available for pre-order for $499 and is said to be shipping this spring.
