Short Films Are the New Commercials! Watch Nike, Apple, and Walmart Shorts By Edgar Wright, Spike Jonze and Dee Rees

This past week a bunch of commercials have been released for some big brands including Walmart, Nike, and Apple. One of the things that I noticed is that these commercials are basically really well made short films.

We've got three Walmart shorts directed by Dee Rees (Mudbound), Nancy Meyers (The Intern), and Melissa McCarthy. Dee Rees has a really fun sci-fi short that I enjoyed a lot. There's a fun Nike short that was directed by Edgar Wright (Baby Driver) that features Kobe Bryant, Bill Nye, Kevin Hart, Odell Beckham Jr., Simone Biles, Giannis Antetokounmpo and Sadie Sink. Then Spike Jonze (Her) lets his imagination fly in a short for Apple's HomePod.

All of the commercials are entertaining. I like commercials like this as they are fun and engaging. Watch them all below and let us know what your favorite is!
