Short Video on an Epic Game of DUNGEONS & DRAGONS That Has Lasted 35 Years!

I just finished Season 2 of Stranger Things, and let me tell you, my mind is racing with what monster they may pull from D&D for the next season. While I got my money on either the Lich or the Beholder, there are others who have this stuff on their mind 24/7.

A video recently released by Next Big Thing shows a group of hardcore geeks who have been playing an epic game of Dungeons & Dragons for 35 years! They even have a collection of figures and landscape to go with it. It is really cool just to see what they've been able to accomplish and how they've been able to remain friends because of it. As a lover of stories, I wish I could do something as epic as this for so long.

In 1982, when he was only 14 years old, Robert Wardhaugh sat down to play a game of Dungeons and Dragons. Thirty-five years later, that same game is still going strong. Based out of Wardhaugh’s basement in London, Canada, people from all around the country gather each week to join in the decades-long campaign. And with over 20,000 figurines and dozens of terrains, Wardhaugh keeps the game fresh and exciting, adding to the everlasting adventure.

Check it out below in the video.
