Sideshow Reveals Awesome Art Prints for DC, Marvel, and STAR WARS Fans
Sideshow recently announced three gorgeous new art prints for fans of DC, Marvel, and Star Wars to get excited for. Each print is available for pre-order now either unframed for $95 or framed for $270. DC fans can grab one of 375 copies of Batgirl: The Last Joke by Ian MacDonald. Many fans will already recognize it as a variant cover for Batgirl #48 (2020).
It’s a bright new day in Gotham as Barbara Gordon leaps into action above the crime-ridden streets. The bat has long served as a symbol of justice in this city, and outfitted in her modern blue, grey, and yellow costume, Batgirl is no different. Our heroine wields her batarang as she is joined by a flurry of bats taking wing, like the clan of crimefighters she calls her own. Rogues, beware! Villains working in the shadows will always have their misdeeds brought to light when the Bat-family is on the case.
The Marvel print Galactus & the Silver Surfer is by Nekro and is an awesome black and white print. Only 450 of these will be available though.
From beyond our universe comes a being of unimaginable might, of boundless hunger- Galactus. He is the Devourer of Worlds, the Hunger that Does Not Cease, and it is the solemn duty of his herald, the Silver Surfer, to discover planets that his master may consume for power. Artist NEKRO XIII combines the godly stature of Galactus with his own signature baroque stylings to create a vision of cosmic catastrophe that is as elegant and engrossing as it is haunting. Nestled into the architecture of the giant’s armor, the Silver Surfer proves the loyal and noble heart of this duo’s mission through the Marvel Universe.
Finally, we have Ahsoka Tano: Between Worlds by Darren Tan. This one might be my personal favorite. There will be 1000 of these available for fans to enjoy.
Past and present collide in this dramatic composition, which captures the fateful encounter on Malachor between the former master and his padawan, both forever changed by their separation from the Jedi order. Between worlds, Ahsoka Tano acts as the fulcrum for agents of the Rebellion while they make a valiant stand against Darth Vader and the might of the Galactic Empire. This Star Wars artwork shows a grown Ahsoka standing in the Sith temple while her convor companion Morai observes from a distance. Behind the Togruta looms the shadow of Vader, his helmet slashed to reveal a hint of the man Ahsoka once knew- Anakin Skywalker.
