Sigourney Weaver's Villainous Character in THE DEFENDERS Has a Connection to All Four Heroes

We hardly know anything about the villain Sigourney Weaver plays in The Defenders. We know he name is Alexandra and that she wants to kill Daredevil, Jessica Jones, Luke Cage, and Iron Fist. We have no idea why, but actor Mike Colter, who plays Cage, has shed a bit more light on Weaver's character saying that she has a connection with all four heroes. He explains to TV Guide:

"The villains that we’re dealing with are a combination of several entities, um, and they all have something to do with our separate stories that have played out in each of our own individual series. So this has been going on for a while. It wasn’t obvious each individual series, but in this series you’ll find out that the things that happened to all of us basically were all because of one entity and that’s what’s gonna kind of tie things together and then we’ll see that, we’ll understand that, and before you know it, eventually we’ll fight together or not."

It's hard to say what that connection could be but she's obviously pissed off at them for some reason. Have they wronged her in some way? Is she a business woman tied to something bigger in the universe that the heroes all had a role in hurting in some way? I have no idea, but we'll eventually find out when The Defenders is released on August 18th.

What do you think Alexandra's connection with The Defenders could be?
