SILENCE OF THE LAMBS Meets LADY AND THE TRAMP in Trailer and Preview For STRAY DOGS Comic

There’s a Don Bluth inspired horror comic coming out titled Stray Dogs. The comic comes from My Little Pony collaborators Tony Fleecs and Trish Forstner and it’s described as being Silence of the Lambs meets Lady and the Tramp. The project was announced at the end of summer and Paramount Pictures acquired the rights and is developing an animated feature film. That movie is being developed by Game Night screenwriter Mark Perez and producer Gary Dauberman, who has worked on Annabelle and the It movies.

Here's how Fleecs describes the five-issue miniseries:

Sophie can’t remember what happened. She doesn’t know how she ended up in this house. She doesn’t recognize any of these other dogs. She knows something terrible
happened but she just… can’t… recall... WAIT! Where’s her lady?

Image Comics has now released a trailer for the comic and also offers a first look at some of the cover art and interior art. Each issue of the comic miniseries is said to feature a cover that pays homage to classic horror movies. The first one you can see below was inspired by Silence of the Lambs.

The series is set to debut in print form on February 17th.
