Simon Pegg Returning to THE BOYS Season 4 and Three New Cast Members Announced
Simon Pegg is set to return to The Boys for its fourth season, and he will reprise his role as Hughie's dad, Hugh Campbell Sr. He previously appeared in five of the eight episodes in the Prime Video show's first season, and later made a guest appearance in the opening of the third season. It’s great to see that he’ll be coming back and I’m curious to see what they have in store for him.
Amazon also announced three new cast members including Black Mirror's Rosemarie DeWitt, who will play Hughie's mother, who has only been mentioned a couple of times throughout the series. Then there’s Rob Benedict (Supernatural) and Elliot Knight (Once Upon a Time) who have signed on.
The actors join other new Season 4 cast members including Valorie Curry and Susan Heyward, who are playing The Seven's latest superhero hires, Firecracker and Sister Sage, along with The Walking Dead's Jeffrey Dean Morgan, whose role hasn’t been revealed yet.
The other cast members include Karl Urban as Billy Butcher, Jack Quaid as Hughie Campbell, Erin Moriarity as Annie/Starlight, Antony Starr as Homelander, Chace Crawford as The Deep, Jessie T. Usher as A-Train, Tomer Kapon as Frenchie, Karen Fukuhara as Kimiko, Laz Alonso as Mother's Milk, Claudia Doumit as Victoria Neuman, and Colby Minifie as Ashley Barrett. Cameron Crovetti, who plays Homelander's son Ryan, has also been upped to a series regular as well.
I’m looking forward to the return of The Boys and am excited to see how the story continues with these characters.
