Sinemia is Now Offering an Unlimited Movie Subscription Plan

MoviePass used to promise unlimited films for $9.99. Not surprisingly, they’ve had to change that plan. One of their competitors thinks they’ve figured out how to offer unlimited films and not go bankrupt. Sinemia is offering a plan that allows the customer to see 30 movies a month. That translates to roughly a movie a day aka MoviePass’ original plan. They way they are going to stay afloat is simple: charge more than $10 a month. This plan will cost $30 a month. That may seem like a lot when you consider MoviePass’ old offer, but they want this plan to be sustainable. Also, if you go to about 3 movies a month, it has already paid for itself.

There are some downsides to this plan though. First, it is billed annually equaling $360 at once, or you pay an initiation fee of $29.99. Second, it does not seem to include 3D, 4DX, or IMAX films. Third, it appears that if you were interested in their Classic 2 package that offered two tickets a month for only $7.99, you’re out of luck. I talked to Sinemia and they have decided to remove the Classic 2 package while they are offering the unlimited plan. If you already purchased that plan, you won’t experience any changes. Sinemia informed me that they would not be cancelling those plans. Fourth, they are no longer offering the Restaurants.com eGift Card. Finally, this is a limited time offer. They would not tell me how long the offer will be available, but I imagine that it will be a long time if people are interested.

Are you going to grab this unlimited plan? If you’re interested, you can find all their current plans on their website.
