Six Clips From DC's JOKER Tease a New Trailer Coming on Wednesday
There’s a new trailer for DC’s Joker coming tomorrow, Wednesday, August 28th, and to get fans ready and pumped up for it, Warner Bros. has released six brief clips on Instagram for you to watch. You can check those out below!
Most of the footage features Arthur Fleck (Joaquin Phoenix), who is going through an interesting time in his life – a time of transformation into something crazy insane. In one of the clips we see him crawl into a refrigerator and shut the door.
A lot of fans rolled their eyes when this film was first announced, but Warner Bros. now has everyone’s attention and we are all waiting to see what exactly director Todd Phillips and Phoenix are going to deliver. Will we love it? Will we hate it? I guess we’ll just have to wait and see!
Joker centers around the iconic arch-nemesis and is an original, standalone story not seen before on the big screen. The exploration of Arthur Fleck (Joaquin Phoenix), a man disregarded by society, is not only a gritty character study, but also a broader cautionary tale.
The film also stars Zazie Beetz, Robert De Niro, Frances Conroy, Brett Cullen, and Marc Maron.
Joker will be released in theaters on October 4th, 2019.
