Six-Part Series Adaptation of Best-Selling Biography BEING NIXON Coming to TV

There is a six-part series adaptation coming out based on the bestselling biography, Being Nixon: A Man Divided, by Evan Thomas. Oscar-winning writer Ron Bass (Rain Man) will adapt the biography into a limited series, as well as executive produce.

The biography covered the entire life of the former president, and is described by Deadline as “a portrait of an incredibly fascinating and consequential man who remains one of America’s most studied presidents, a brilliant, relentless foreign policy strategist and political savant whose career in American politics spanned nearly five decades and whose legacy forever bears the stains of Watergate.”

This will undoubtedly be a fascinating series that will lift the cover on a period of time in the not too distant history of our country that has been shrouded in scandal and mystery since it happened. I love it when we get far enough away from historical moments in time that we finally are given more to the story.

I will definitely be tuning in to check this series out. We don’t know what network it will land at yet, or who will be cast, but until then, who would you like to see play Richard Nixon?
