Skydance is Producing a High-Action, Genre-Bending Film Titled THE GORGE From Writer Zach Dean
Skydance has picked up a spec script for a film project titled The Gorge. The script comes from Zach Dean, the writer behind the upcoming Chris Pratt sci-fi film, The Tomorrow War.
There’s not much known about the movie at this time. What we do know is that it’s a “high-action, genre-bending love story about two young people, who despite the corrupt and lethal world they operate in, find a soulmate in each other during a dangerous assignment.”
So what does this have to do with a gorge? I have no idea! Maybe the whole story takes place in one. I’d be curious to learn more about the film, but that’s pretty much all we got right now in regards to the story!
David Ellison is producing for Skydance with Matt Grimm shepherding the project for the studio. Dean will also produce as will Adam Kolbrenner, who is a producer on Tomorrow War as well as the upcoming Ryan Reynolds film Free Guy.
