SMALLVILLE Reunion Photo Shows Tom Welling and Erica Durance on the Set of DC's CRISIS ON INFINITE EARTHS

It was recently announced that Smallville stars Tom Welling and Erica Durance would be reprising their roles as Clark Kent and Lois Lane in The CW’s Crisis on Infinite Earths crossover event series. Well, today we have a photo from the set of the series that features Welling and Durance back together again!

Durance shared the photo on Instagram with the following note:

“So, I was just minding my own business, and I ran into this guy😊 @tomwelling #Smallville #crisis #loisandclark. Laughed until I cried! So much fun”

You can check out the post below. It’s great to see these two working together again as these great characters!

It’s been explained that the "Crisis on Infinite Earths" crossover will reveal what happened to these characters almost ten years after the events on Smallville. Arrow co-creator/executive producer Marc Guggenheim addressed the significance of the casting, saying:

“For eight years, Arrow has stood on the shoulders of Smallville. Simply put, there would be no Arrow, and no Arrowverse, without it. So when we first started talking about Crisis on Infinite Earths, our first, second and third priorities were getting Tom to reprise his iconic role as Clark Kent. To say that we’re thrilled would be a Superman-sized understatement.”

The crossover will unite the entire Arrowverse series franchise – Arrow, The Flash, Supergirl, DC’s Legends of Tomorrow and Batwoman. It’s a five-episode epic that will span two quarters, with three episodes airing in December and the two concluding installments debuting in January.
