Sofia Coppola Casts Elvis and Priscilla Presley in Her Next Film PRISCILLA
Director Sofia Coppola is working on her next film, Priscilla, which will take on the story of Priscilla Presley, the wife of the King of Rock n’ Roll, Elvis Presley. The film will be based on the memoir Elvis and Me by Priscilla Beaulieu Presley, and Coppola has set Cailee Spaeny (Bad Times at the El Royale, The First Lady) and Jacob Elordi (The Kissing Booth, Euphoria) in the roles of Priscilla and Elvis Presley, respectively.
Published in 1985, Presley’s intimate account of her life with Elvis became a New York Times Bestseller and an international sensation. Coppola adapted the script for the film, which is set to shoot in Toronto in the fall.
