SOLO Star Alden Ehrenreich Joins the Cast of Marvel Series IRONHEART at Disney+

Alden Ehrenreich, best known for playing Han Solo in the Star Wars prequel film Solo, has joined the cast of the Marvel series Ironheart that is headed to Disney+. He joins previously cast star of the series Dominique Thorne, who is set to portray Marvel character Riri Williams, a genius inventor and creator of the most advanced suit of armor since Iron Man. Anthony Ramos (Hamilton) is also on board as well as Manny Montana (Good Girls), Lyric Ross (This is Us), and newcomer Harper Anthony.

Chinaka Hodge (Amazing Stories, Snowpiercer) was recently tapped as head writer on the series, with Samantha Bailey (Grown-ish, Dear White People) and Angela Barnes (Atlanta, Loot) co-directing.

Not much has been released concerning the plot of the series beside the logline, but Disney+ has been cranking out some solid series, so I am excited to see this. Ironheart is expected to drop on Disney+ later this year. Are you looking forward to it?
