Some Familiar Enemies Reportedly Will Appear In STAR WARS: THE LAST JEDI

Star Wars: The Last Jedi will feature some foes that were briefly seen in The Force Awakens if firsthand accounts from on-set filming can be believed.

THR reports members of the press who were on-set in Ireland witnessed a battle between Rey, Luke, and The Knights Of Ren, although accounts of what was seen tend to vary.

Some reports indicate that Poe and Finn are also present for this battle, and there's also a bit about the Millenium Falcon taking considerable damage during the exchange. There's also a bit about Rey and Luke climbing a tree and spotting something that wasn't seen that will probably be CGI'd in the film in post-production.

According to the THR report one account "showed John Boyega and Oscar Isaac, as well as Ridley and Hamill, scampering up and down Skellig’s steep hillside and shooting scenes in Oscar-winning production designer Rick Heinrichs’ breathlessly cantilevered Jedi village, which was suspended 700 feet above the surf."

Then on the message boards at StarWarsNewsNet, someone who claimed to have been at the event offered another take on the footage screened:

"Kylo and the knights of Ren attack Luke and Rey on Ahch to. Seems to be a prolonged battle. Dusk into night time light. The Falcon takes heavy damage in some beauty shots over Ireland. Presumably trying to escape. Luke joins Rey in the tree and they're not alone. Both turn/look at a point while inside."

Whatever the case it appears that Rey and Luke's time on Ahch-To will be interrupted, and I can't wait to see how the two go up against their enemies!
