Some Fan Favorite Villains are Coming to Sunnydale in BUFFY THE VAMPIRE SLAYER #2 Cover

Matthew Taylor has unveiled his cover artwork for Buffy the Vampire Slayer #2 and it gives us a peek at who’s coming to Sunnydale.

Drusilla and Spike appear to be coming to town and Drusilla will be introduced as “The Mistress.” The two lovers will be putting their attention on the newest Slayer who seems to be struggling to learn from her Watcher.

Executive editor at BOOM! Studios, Jeanine Schaefer, said this about the issue:

“This is the Buffy Summers you know – but her world is just a little bit different, which is why we’re so excited to have Matthew Taylor introduce Drusilla as The Mistress! If you were a fan of Drusilla and Spike – c’mon, who wasn’t? – then you’re in for a treat as they come to Sunnydale with much different intentions than you’ve ever seen before. And maybe some tortured poetry as well, emphasis on the tortured part.”
