FX has dropped a new trailer for American Horror Story: Double Feature. This trailer is for the first part of the new season, which is titled “Red Tide.”

In this story, “a struggling writer, his pregnant wife, and their daughter move to an isolated beach town for the winter. As they settle in, the town’s true residents make themselves known.” As you might expect from this horror anthology series, you can bet you’ll see lots of dark and sinister things. It looks like The Shining with some monstrous mermaids.

The series stars Sarah Paulson, Evan Peters, Macaulay Culkin, Frances Conroy, Leslie Grossman, Billie Lourd, Adina Porter, Lily Rabe, Angelica Ross, Finn Wittrock, Denis O’Hare, Matt Bomer, John Carroll Lynch, and Neal McDonough.

American Horror Story: Double Feature is set to premiere on FX on Wednesday, August 25th and will be available for streaming the next day on FX on Hulu.
