Sonic and Knuckles Face Off in First Trailer for SONIC THE HEDGEHOG 2
Paramount Pictures dropped the first trailer for Sonic The Hedgehog 2! Sonic seems to have his work cut out for him as he once again faces off with Jim Carrey’s Dr. Robotnik, who is showing off his brand-spankin’ new mustache! But that’s not all, the trailer features Sonic facing off with Knuckles, and as you’ll see, Knuckles isn’t going to be an easy villain to take down. Sonic will get a little help from his new friend Tails, though!
Idris Elba takes on the role of Knuckles, Colleen O'Shaughnessey as the voice of Miles "Tails" Prower, Ben Schwartz returns to play Sonic, and James Marsden will be back as Tom Wachowski, a police officer that befriends Sonic and offers him some sound advice.
The first movie was a lot of fun, and this sequel looks like it’ll end up being just as entertaining! Here’s the synopsis:
The world’s favorite blue hedgehog is back for a next-level adventure in SONIC THE HEDGEHOG 2. After settling in Green Hills, Sonic is eager to prove he has what it takes to be a true hero. His test comes when Dr. Robotnik returns, this time with a new partner, Knuckles, in search for an emerald that has the power to destroy civilizations. Sonic teams up with his own sidekick, Tails, and together they embark on a globe-trotting journey to find the emerald before it falls into the wrong hands.
