SONIC THE HEDGEHOG 2 Character Posters Feature Sonic, Tails, and Knuckles
I’ve got four new posters for Sonic The Hedgehog 2 to share with you today and three of them are character posters that feature Sonic, Tails, and the villain Knuckles.
Remember when the original design for Sonic was first revealed and the backlash was so heavy that Paramount Pictures redesigned the character and they had to redo all of the CGI work for the character in the film? That still amuses me. In the end, the movie was a big success and the studio is expanding the franchise, not only with this sequel, but they also announced a third film and a Knuckles spinoff film!
Idris Elba takes on the role of Knuckles, Colleen O'Shaughnessey is the voice of Miles "Tails" Prower, Ben Schwartz returns to play Sonic, and James Marsden will be back as Tom Wachowski, a police officer that befriends Sonic and offers him some sound advice. Then, of course, Jim Carrey is back in the role of Dr. Robotnik.
The world’s favorite blue hedgehog is back for a next-level adventure in SONIC THE HEDGEHOG 2. After settling in Green Hills, Sonic is eager to prove he has what it takes to be a true hero. His test comes when Dr. Robotnik returns, this time with a new partner, Knuckles, in search for an emerald that has the power to destroy civilizations. Sonic teams up with his own sidekick, Tails, and together they embark on a globe-trotting journey to find the emerald before it falls into the wrong hands.
The movie is being directed by Jeff Fowler and it races into theaters on April 8th, 2022.
