Spider-Man Producer Says Sony and Marvel Will Produce 3 More Spider-Man Movies with Tom Holland Starring
I’ve got some cool and exciting news for all of you Marvel and Spider-Man fans out there! It looks like Sony Pictures and Marvel Studios have once again extended their deal involving Spider-Man. Producer Amy Pascal recently confirmed with Fandango that the two studios have plans to work together on three more Spider-Man movies after Spider-Man: No Way Home, and Tom Holland will continue to play Peter Parker/Spider-Man in them. Pascal says:
"This is not the last movie that we are going to make with Marvel – [this is not] the last Spider-Man movie. We are getting ready to make the next Spider-Man movie with Tom Holland and Marvel. We're thinking of this as three films, and now we're going to go onto the next three. This is not the last of our MCU movies."
This is great! I was hoping that this would be the case. The last we heard regarding the deal between Sony and Marvel is that they would make one more solo Spider-Man film and the character would appear in one more MCU movie. The fact that we are now getting at least three more Spider-Man films from the two studios should give fans confidence in the future of the fan-favorite superhero.
Spider-Man: No Way Home tickets recently went online, and the pre-sale crashed every major movie theater website. I’ve never seen anything like that happen before. This movie is going to be freakin’ massive!
Anyway, are you happy to hear that Marvel and Sony will be making three more Spider-Man movies together!?
