Sony Bringing LOOK WHO'S TALKING Reboot to the Big Screen

Another ‘80s remake?! Alright! That’s so necessary! Remember the endearing 1989 Amy Heckerling-directed film Look Who’s Talking starring John Travolta, Kirstie Alley, and Bruce Willis as the lovable talking baby, Mikey?

Well it’s getting a reboot. Does it need a reboot? No one cares. It’s happening. Don’t get me wrong. I freaking loved that movie as a kid, along with the sequels. It was funny and sweet, but everyone is tired of the same old stories. Although, it will be a totally different movie now, as raising kids in the ‘80s looks very different from current times. So I guess there will be a lot of timely material to work with.

The new version will be written and directed by Jeremy Garelick (The Wedding Ringer, Best. Worst. Weekend. Ever.). It will probably end up being a fun movie that my kids will enjoy, like I enjoyed the original. And maybe this time they won’t use singing sperm. A girl can dream, right?

Will you be seeing the new Look Who’s Talking?
