Sony Grabs BLACK PANTHER Composer Ludwig Gorannson for VENOM

We’ve seen the first trailer for Venom and people seem weary since not once do we get to see the symbiote. This has led to rumors that we won’t see the symbiote at all in the film. That rumor was shot down by Tom Hardy, who plays Eddy Brock in the film, and so many fans are returning to being cautiously optimistic about Venom.

Something that may add a point to the film’s favor is who Sony has gotten to compose the score for the film: Ludwig Gorannson. Gorannson has worked with Venom’s director, Ruben Fleischer before on 30 Minutes or Less, but he is probably better known right now for his work on the Black Panther score.

I loved Black Panther and the musical score was just as good as everything else in that film. This makes me very excited to listen to Venom. I’m cautiously optimistic, and hopefully, we’ll get a tease of Venom in a new trailer, but if nothing else, the musical score should be pretty amazing.

Venom will be released in theaters October 5, 2018.
