Sony Has Teamed Up With The Void to Create JUMANJI: REVERSE THE CURSE VR Experience

The whole movie franchise of Jumanji seems to be like a VR game that anyone watching would just love to jump into. It’s so exciting and wild, and since 2017’s Jumanji: Welcome to the Jungle and this upcoming Jumanji: The Next Level are both set inside video games, it just resonates with the audience that we should be participating. Now, thanks to the teams at Sony and the virtual reality company The Void, we can jump in on the action!

Jumanji: Reverse the Curse is hitting select The Void locations on November 27th, just over two weeks before the upcoming film. Variety provides the following description of the game:

“Jumanji: Reverse the Curse” will give visitors a chance to enter the world of the franchise with wireless VR gear that allows them to explore a customized stage with real walls, doors and other props.

The experience can be explored by up to 4 visitors at a time, who transform into the characters of Dr. Bravestone, Ruby Roundhouse, Professor Oberon and “Mouse” Finbar in VR. Their task in the experience is to rescue the Scepter of Se’payu containing the Red Jewel of Jumanji and return it to the temple from which it was stolen. Along the way, they’ll have to deal with treacherous environments, hungry wildlife and more.

This is seriously the most perfect idea for a VR game. I would love to check this out! Would you play Jumanji: Reverse the Curse? Check it out November 27th, and see Jumanji: The Next Level in theaters on December 13th.
