Sony Pictures Wants Edgar Wright to Make a BABY DRIVER Sequel
Baby is his name, driving fast is his game. Baby Driver is now in theaters and has gained loads of critical acclaim and now writer/director Edgar Wright says Sony already wants a sequel.
During an interview with Empire's film podcast, Wright said the studio approached him about writing a sequel to Baby Driver. Sony has made no comment about the potential of a Baby Driver sequel. But what would that sequel be about? Well, Wright gave some insight of a possible plot during an interview with Vulture:
"I sort of have an idea that if you did another one you would subvert his involvement in the crime in a different way so he’s not kind of the apprentice anymore.”
If Wright pursues the idea of a sequel it will mark the first time in his 5-feature film career that he has made a sequel.
What do you guys think, would you like to see Baby take the wheel again in a sequel, or is Baby Driver good enough as a stand alone?
