Sony Pushes MASTERS OF THE UNIVERSE Back to 2020
If you were hoping to see the live-action Masters of the Universe later this year, you’ll be sorely disappointed. Sony has officially pushed the movie back to an undisclosed time in 2020. This makes sense as the film is supposedly not filming until this July. Having it come out in December would’ve been ridiculous.
Not much is known about the film as Sony apparently does not have a director or star listed for the film, but last we heard, Aaron and Adam Nee will be directing the film and Noah Centineo is potentially going to be Prince Adam. They will be working on a script from the team of Matt Holloway and Art Marcum.
Are you excited for Masters of the Universe? Are you sad they pushed it back?
Sorry, He-Man fans. Sony's MASTERS OF THE UNIVERSE in 2D will NOT drop Dec. 18, 2019, instead its pushing to 2020 TBD. Good thing, because there's no director or cast attached yet. But hey, at least it's still on the schedule.
