Sony's 4K Projector Is Insanely Expensive, But Damn Does It Sounds Amazing

Are you wondering what the true future of 4K lies? Sony might have the answer, but it's nowhere near commercially viable at this time. The company is showcasing the Sony Life UX 4K projector at CES 2018, and for just $30,000 you too can have a 120 inch 4K projector in your home. Constructed within a modestly size coffee table with a marble top, this projector is meant to short throw and keep your projector out of the way of the rest of your living room. According to Engadget, the device also transmits 360-degree atmospheric sound, which definitely makes me more interested in it as the future of television.

Of course, there's no way in hell I'm paying the equivalent of a new car just to keep my living room dim at all hours when the television is on. When I hit the lottery though, this is going to be my first purchase.
