Paramount+ has released the main opening title sequence for its upcoming Star Trek animated series Star Trek: Prodigy, and it’s pretty damn beautiful! It’s a gorgeous opening for the series, and while this is meant to be a kids show, it looks like something that adult fans are going to enjoy watching as well.

The series follows “a motley crew of young aliens who must figure out how to work together while navigating a greater galaxy, in search for a better future. These six young outcasts know nothing about the ship they have commandeered – a first in the history of the Star Trek franchise – but over the course of their adventures together, they will each be introduced to Starfleet and the ideals it represents.”

The voice cast members include Kate Mulgrew as Hologram Janeway, Brett Gray as Dal, Ella Purnell as Gwyn, Angus Imrie as Zero, Rylee Alazraqui as Rok-Tahk, Dee Bradley Baker as Murf, and Jason Mantzoukas as Jankom Pog.

The series was developed by Kevin and Dan Hageman (Trollhunters and Ninjago), and it’s set to hit Paramount+ later this year.
