SPELLBREAK Improves Competitive Play and Adds Story in April
Proletariat recently announced a new major update releasing for their hit game Spellbreak titled Chapter 2: The Fracture. Releasing on April 8, the update will feature a new game mode, competitive leagues, more story quests, and exclusive rewards. The new game mode is Dominion Mode. It features 5v5 matches where teams compete to control 3 zones. You’ll score points by controlling the zones and exiling enemies. In addition, there will be NPCs with items and scrolls throughout the map including a shady merchant that will give you stronger gear for Boons.
If you like the competitive side of gaming, you’ll love Leagues. This is a new system for ranked matches that includes progression tiers and exclusive rewards “for successful and skillful play.” Prove your mettle!
Finally, at launch, there will be 12 weeks of new, free, story-driven quests for Spellbreak. These build off the story that fans enjoyed in Chapter 1: The Spellstorm and will offer in-game missions as well as new cosmetics to breathe new life into your Breaker.
You can play Spellbreak now on Nintendo Switch, PC, PS4, and Xbox One.
