SPIDER-MAN 3 Rumor Includes Character From Netflix Marvel Series

The yet-to-be-titled Spider-Man 3 is set to hit theaters next Summer, with Sony and Marvel working together to continue the story that left off with Tom Holland’s Peter Parker having been exposed as the web-slinger, and having the finger pointed at him for the death of Mysterio, as well as other horrible accusations. It’s going to be a whole new ball game for Parker, and it will be interesting to see how he handles it in a world where he no longer has the anonymity that kept his private life out of the spotlight.

I can’t wait for the next movie for that reason, but it’s also exciting because of a rumor that has been circulating. Talk around the internet has people saying that Daredevil will be part of the next film. That’s right, Charlie Cox, who plays lawyer Matt Murdock by day and Daredevil by night on the Netflix series Daredevil, is rumored to have a part in Spider-Man 3. Even actor and director Kevin Smith has been quoted talking about it:

I heard another piece of good fucking news. Did You hear that Spider-Man, the new Spider-Man movie, gonna have a lawyer in it? […] Charlie Cox, they’re bringing in as Matt Murdock. That’s been the rumor online and they say that’s like the one that like Marvel’s like god damn it how did that get out?

That would be so amazing. I love the Daredevil Netflix series and would love to see his character transfer into the MCU. And I don’t want to see anyone play the role except Charlie Cox. Same with when we finally get to see The Punisher in the MCU. He can only be portrayed by Jon Bernthal.

It’s still just a rumor for now, but one that has gained pretty good traction. I hope it’s true! I think it would be an awesome movie for Daredevil to be introduced in, and Spider-Man would have a lot of fun with the character. What do you think?
