SPIDER-MAN 3 Set Photos Show Tom Holland, Zendaya, Costume, and Mysterio Easter Eggs
Some photos and videos from the set of Spider-Man 3 have surfaced that some of you might be interested in checking out. They offer a first look at Tom Holland as Peter Parker and Zendaya as MJ in the movie. They also feature Spider-Man in costume and some Mysterio Easter eggs. The photos also tease a winter holiday setting.
As for the Mysterio Easter eggs, they were spotted on a newsstand that is littered with posters and flyers some of which say, “I Believe” with art of the villain on it. There’s another one that reads “Citizens to Defend Spidey.”
With Peter Parker being outed as Spider-Man at the end of Spider-Man: Far From Home, and framed by Mysterio, it’s going to be interesting to see how that story arc continues to play out over the course of this new film which is also going to explore the multiverse in big and exciting ways.
Holland will be joined in the film by Benedict Cumberbatch as Doctor Strange, Andrew Garfield as his version of Spider-Man, Tobey Maguire is also said to be returning, Kirsten Dunst will return as Mary Jane Watson, and Emma Stone could “reprise her role as Gwen Stacy, pregnancy permitting.” That’s on top of Jamie Foxx coming back as Electro and Alfred Molina coming back as Doctor Octopus.
Spider-Man 3 is being directed by Jon Watts. Marisa Tomei, Tony Revolori, and Jacob Batalon will also all be returning. The movie is currently set to be released on December 17th, 2021.
