Spider-Man 4 Gets Official Title: SPIDER-MAN: BRAND NEW DAY

Sony Pictures announced at CinemaCon that the official title for Spider-Man 4 will be titled Spider-Man: Brand New Day. Tom Holland made the announcement in a brief video presentation, and nothing else was revealed.

Destin Daniel Cretton (Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings) is directing, with longtime Spider-Man producers Amy Pascal and Marvel Studios head Kevin Feige overseeing the project.

The director said they are looking to make a Spider-Man that is unlike any other Spider-Man film that has been made, which is pretty exciting!

Holland will be joined by Sadie Sink in the movie, but we still don’t know for sure who exactly she is playing.

Marvel and Sony are seemingly using this film as an opportunity to reshape the franchise, as these films have always been well-received, and the last film left Tom Holland’s Peter at a crossroads.

While not too much is known about Spider-Man 4, Holland did reveal a bit about the movie this past week. In a recent round of visits to various talk shows, Holland said that it will be “different” from what fans may think.

The movie will be released on July 31st, 2026.
