SPIDER-MAN: BRAND NEW DAY Teaser Offers a Glimpse at Spidey's New Suit
Spider‑Man fans just got a hype boost with a very brief teaser for Spider‑Man: Brand New Day. In honor of Spider‑Man Day, Sony and Marvel dropped a video offering a glimpse of Peter Parker’s latest suit.
Remember at the end of Spider‑Man: No Way Home when Tom Holland’s Peter Parker crafted his own new suit for a fresh start? We only briefly saw it in action, but it looked awesome. This nine‑second tease features a tight close‑up of the suit and a lot of shadow, leaving the full design under wraps.
Even within the brief frames you can catch hints of design evolution. There’s a subtle flash of metallic blue that echoes the “Final Swing” suit from No Way Home. That same sleek hexagonal pattern still decorates the red fabric in places, which is consistent with the MCU‑era Spidey fans are familiar with.
But the real standout upgrade is webbing, with raised webbing reminiscent of previous Hollywood Spider suits like the signature webbing from Tobey Maguire’s Sam Raimi trilogy and Andrew Garfield’s second suit in The Amazing Spider‑Man 2.
That raised, three‑dimensional webbing stands out amid the shadows, suggesting Sony and Marvel are paying tribute to classic cinematic Spider-Man looks while defining a new MCU style.
Brand New Dayis in production in Glasgow, Scotland, and Destin Daniel Cretton (Shang-Chi) is directing, Jon Bernthal’s Punisher is making his big-screen MCU debut in the film, which is going to be awesome!
The movie also stars Sadie Sink (Stranger Things) and Liza Colón-Zayas (The Bear) joining the cast in undisclosed roles, plus the return of Zendaya and Jacob Batalon.
Spider-Man: Brand New Day is set to hit theaters July 31, 2026.
