SPIDER-MAN Director Jon Watts To Direct Michael B. Jordan in METHUSALEH

Jon Watts, the director behind Marvel’s Spider-Man: Homecoming and Spider-Man: Far From Home, is in negotiations to team up with Michael B. Jordan (Creed, Black Panther) and direct his new film Methuselah.

Jordan is set to star in the film and play a man who has managed to stay alive for over 400 years. “Without showing the physical signs of age. In that time, he has accumulated vast intellectual knowledge, from multiple languages to the sciences, as well as survival skills.”

Warner Bros. has been looking at trying to get this film production off the ground for years. At one point Tom Cruise was attached to star, but things didn’t work out. But, with Jordan on board now, the studio is ready to move on it soon.

This project is said to have franchise potential with its Highlander-like mythology.” I think that Watts is a solid director and this could be a great film project for him to take on next. After all, he can’t make Spider-Man movies forever!
