SPIDER-MAN Director Says He Wants to Explore Vulture's Daughter Liz in Future Films
While fans are still reeling from the awesomeness of Spider-Man: Far From Home, director Jon Watts is thinking about how he is going to continue the story and the characters that he’d like to explore more as he continues his Spider-Man journey.
One of the characters that he says he’d love to explore more in future films in the Vulture’s daughter Liz, who was played by Laura Harrier in Spider-Man: Homecoming. She was Peter Parker’s love interest in the film. Liz moved to Oregon after her dad was thrown into prison. When asked about Liz in an interview with CB, Watts said:
"Oh yeah. I mean like, yeah, we talked about it a little bit. I mean, that's something that I would love to explore more future films."
As for whether Liz was affected by The Snap, which is now known as the Blip, Watts wouldn’t say. But if she was a part of the 50% of the universe who survived, it would be an interesting opportunity for Watts to play with. He says:
"She was [five years older than everyone] when we shot the movie, so now she can just actually play her. Now she can just play her actual age."
If Liz returns, there’s a good chance that Michael Keaton’s Vulture will return as well. He was rumored to be a part of Far From Home at one point, but that didn’t happen.
If Liz did come back, it would certainly makes things interesting for Peter Parker, especially with the predicament that he found himself in at the end of the movie.
