SPIDER-MAN: HOMECOMING Composer Brings Back The Classic Spider-Man Theme
Never have I been so excited for a musical score since musical scores were actual original sounding and made completely by John Williams. Ok, Hans Zimmer did a good job too. But famed composer Michael Giacchino seems to really have outdone himself with the new score for Spider-Man: Homecoming.
Giacchino, known for many great scores including Doctor Who and Rogue One, has recently posted a tweet teasing a snippet of the score he is creating for the new Spider-Man: Homecoming film. The song has a powerful orchestration, but still reminiscent of the classic Spider-Man theme. At first, I thought that it would just be a fun call back, but this sounds like it may be the driving song for the series. It makes me so happy. It fills me with energy and joy at the same time. I may just set this as my new alarm to wake up in the morning. What do you think?
