SPIDER-MAN: HOMECOMING Producer Wants to See a Spider-Man and Daredevil MCU Crossover
In the comics, Spider-Man and Daredevil have worked alongside each other quite a bit. They share quite a few villains, specifically the Kingpin being one of both heroes bigger villains. They both work heavily on the streets of NYC. So naturally many people have wondered if Spider-Man and Daredevil would ever team up in the future in the MCU. Well, recently co-producer of Spider-Man: Homecoming, Eric Carroll, said he would be interested in having them meet up somehow. He was quoted in an interview with Cinemablend about if we might see Daredevil in Homecoming and he had this to say:
"Daredevil's not specifically referenced in this movie, no. I think that's something we all think would be really fun, and it's definitely a card I would love to see played, if not sooner rather than later. But as of now, it's not referenced in this movie."
Now, there have been talks about whether the Netflix series would ever have a crossover with the cinematic part of the Marvel Universe with plenty of people on both sides interested, but as of yet, there have been no official talks. Recently, Vincent D'Nofrio and Charlie Cox have mentioned their interest to meet with Spider-Man in the Marvel Universe.
Personally, I would love to see the two characters meet in the MCU. Spider-Man has been one of my favorite heroes as a child and Daredevil has become a recent favorite of mine. They both have such different ideas on the world, with Daredevil taking things so much more serious and Spider-man being so much more lighthearted. Many people say that it could be impossible to crossover the two, but the same thing was said about Spider-man entering the Marvel Universe, so HA.
