SPIDER-MAN: INTO THE SPIDER-VERSE Get's a New Poster and I've Included a Bunch of Rad Screenshots From The Trailer

Yesterday Sony Pictures shared a radical new trailer for Phil Lord and Chris Miller's upcoming animated film Spider-Man: Into The Spider-Verse. I love everything about what I've seen from this film so far. This thing is going to be wicked fun!

Today we have a new poster for the film to share with you and I also included a bunch of screenshots for you to scroll through. There's a lot of stuff going on in the trailer and there's an explosion of wild visuals! There are a few things I completely missed until I went through the trailer frame by frame. Some of those things go by so fast, you may have missed them. For example, there's one scene that shows an explosion and when that explosion happens you see a big "BOOM!" in it.

There are also a few other stylized things that I thought were awesome that you may have missed. The screenshots also feature shots of some of the villains, which includes stylized versions of the Ultimate Green Goblin, The Kingpin and The Prowler, who, in the comics, is Miles Morales' uncle.

Enter a universe where more than one wears the mask. Phil Lord and Chris Miller, the creative minds behind “The Lego Movie” and “21 Jump Street,” bring their unique talents to a fresh vision of a different Spider-Man Universe, with a groundbreaking visual style that’s the first of its kind. “Spider-Man: Into The Spider-Verse” introduces Brooklyn teen Miles Morales, and the limitless possibilities of the Spider-Verse, where more than one can wear the mask.

You'll notice in the trailer that the older middle-aged Peter Parker in the movie will be voiced by New Girl star Jake Johnson, who I think is a great choice for the role! Shameik Moore (Dope, The Get Down) is playing Miles Morales; Liev Schreiber is playing the larger-than-life crime lord Kingpin; Hailee Steinfeld will play spunky, free-spirited Spider-Gwen; Mahershala Ali will provide the voice for Miles’ uncle Aaron; Atlanta star Brian Tyree Henry will voice Miles’ father Jefferson. Rounding out the cast is Luna Lauren Velez as Miles’ mother Rio, and Lily Tomlin will be Aunt May.

Spider-Man: Into the Spider-verse will be released in theaters on December 14, 2018. What were some of your favorite parts of the trailer?
