Spider-Man Isn't Allowed to Wear a Cape in This Amusing New Trailer For SPIDER-MAN: INTO THE SPIDER-VERSE

I’ve got a new trailer to share with you today for Spider-Man: Into The Spider-Verse and it offers a few new clips that highlights some of the humor of the film. That includes Peter Parker yanking a cape of Miles Morales because Spider-Man doesn’t wear capes! It also shows that Morales’ Spider-Man suit has a few little tricks that Parker’s suit doesn’t have.

I don’t know about you, but this looks like it could be one of the best Spider-Man films that has been made. I love everything that I’ve seen from it! The vibrant comic book-style visuals, the story, the characters, the action… it just looks like it has the making of a great movie and I look forward to the day where I’m sitting in a movie theater, popcorn and soda in hand, to watch the movie.

Enter a universe where more than one wears the mask. Phil Lord and Chris Miller, the creative minds behind “The Lego Movie” and “21 Jump Street,” bring their unique talents to a fresh vision of a different Spider-Man Universe, with a groundbreaking visual style that’s the first of its kind. “Spider-Man: Into The Spider-Verse” introduces Brooklyn teen Miles Morales, and the limitless possibilities of the Spider-Verse, where more than one can wear the mask.

We also now know three of the villains that Spider-Man will face off against in the movie. Those villains are three awesomely stylized versions of the Ultimate version of Green Goblin, The Kingpin and The Prowler, who, in the comics, is Miles Morales' uncle.

Peter Parker is voiced by New Girl star Jake JohnsonShameik Moore (Dope, The Get Down) is playing Miles Morales; Nicolas Cage’s Spider-Man Noir, Liev Schreiber is playing the larger-than-life crime lord Kingpin; Hailee Steinfeld will play spunky, free-spirited Spider-Gwen; Mahershala Ali will provide the voice for Miles’ uncle Aaron; Atlanta star Brian Tyree Henry will voice Miles’ father Jefferson. Rounding out the cast is Luna Lauren Velez as Miles’ mother Rio, and Lily Tomlin will be Aunt May.

Spider-Man: Into the Spider-verse arrives in theaters on December 14th, 2018.
