SPIDER-MAN: NO WAY HOME Magazine Cover Teases the Return of Sandman
Empire has released new magazine cover art promoting Marvel’s upcoming film Spider-Man: No Way Home. As you’ll see, the cover teases the return of Thomas Haden Church’s Sandman.
There have been rumors that Sandman will appear in the film alongside Alfred Molina’s Doc Ock, Jaimie Foxx’s Electro, and Willem Dafoe’s Green Goblin. Then when the trailer was released, it looked like there was a little tease of Sandman’s involvement.
This magazine cover is just more proof that Sandman might really actually show up in the film. One of my favorite parts about Sam Raimi’s Spider-Man 3 was Sandman and his story arc. It would be pretty cool to see Haden Church back in the role again for this movie! Check out the cover art below:
The upcoming movie sees Peter Parker team up with Benedict Cumberbatch’s Doctor Strange as they deal with a big issue when they find themselves in a crazy multiverse adventure. They will also come up against several Spider-Man villains from different Spider-Man universes. Things are going to get really interesting with this movie as fans are hoping that rumors of Tobey Maguire and Andrew Garfield‘s involvement turn out to be true.
The movie is being directed by Jon Watts, and the cast also includes Zendaya as MJ, Jacob Batalon as Ned, Marisa Tomei as Aunt May, Tony Revolori as Flash, and Hannibal Buress as Coach Wilson.
Spider-Man: No Way Home hits theaters on December 17, 2021.
