SPIDER-MAN: NOW WAY HOME TV Spot Sees Doctor Octopus Being Questioned By Doctor Strange About Spider-Man
We’ve got a cool new extended TV spot for you to check out from the upcoming Marvel film Spider-Man: No Way Home. In the last trailer, we saw Alfred Molina’s returning character Doctor Octopus fighting with our universe’s Peter Parker (Tom Holland) on the freeway, then upon seeing his face, realizing that although he is dressed as Spider-Man, this is not the Spider-Man that Otto Octavius knows from his universe, which was played by Tobey Maguire.
Now in this new TV spot, we get to see Doctor Strange (Benedict Cumberbatch) talking to Doc Ock, and asking him, “Do you know a Peter Parker who is Spider-Man?,” to which Doc Ock says, “Yes.” Doctor Strange then points to Holland’s Peter Parker, and says, “Is this him?,” and Doc Ock says, “No.” So it’s just further confirmation that he is from another universe. But that begs the question, what will the villains do in different universes? Come after a different Peter Parker? I’m excited to see how it all plays out.
