SPIDER-MAN Star Tom Holland Opens Up About Retirement Plans: "I Will Just Disappear Off the Face of The Earth"

Spider-Man star Tom Holland has revealed his plans to retire from acting, saying starting a family with girlfriend Zendaya will basically mark the end of his career.

During an interview with Men’s Health Holland shared: "When I have kids, you will not see me in movies anymore. Golf and dad. And I will just disappear off the face of the earth."

At 28, Holland is one of Hollywood’s biggest stars, and he’s enjoyed massive success as Spider-Man, his recent ventures outside of the superhero genre, such as Uncharted and The Crowded Room, received mixed reviews.

However, the actor’s upcoming slate, including Spider-Man 4, Avengers: Doomsday, and The Odyssey, is expected to reestablish his place at the top of Hollywood’s A-list.

Also, he will be back in action in Spider-Man 4 and Avengers: Doomsday before possibly passing the Spider-Man mantle to a live-action Miles Morales.

Holland also shared why he and Zendaya avoid red carpet appearances together: "It’s not my moment, it’s her moment, and if we go together, it’s about us."

It makes complete sense for someone to want to prioritize family and personal life over the ridiculousness of Hollywood’s insanity.
