Spike Lee Responds to New Zealand Magazine Mistaking Him For Stan Lee

The Gisborne Herald, a newspaper in New Zealand, recently mistakenly said that Spike Lee had died, not Stan Lee. The picture and information was all correct, but the name had been mistakenly put to Spike instead of Stan.

The Internet of course had some fun with the mistake and Spike Lee even got in on some of the fun.

Editor of the Gisborne Herald, Jeremy Muir, told Stuff.co.nz that, “People are having a bit of fun with it. That's fine. It's just really embarrassing. It's a human mistake.”

I’m glad that Muir can have a laugh at it and admit it was a mistake.
