SPLATOON 3 Chill Season 2022 Content Announced

As the weather gets colder that can only mean one thing, new Chill Season content for Splatoon 3. Starting on December 1, Splatoon 3 players with active Nintendo Switch Online memberships will have access to new weapons, stages, gear, victory emotes, and game modes.

Big Run is coming. This new game event will bring a twist to the co-op survival mode Salmon Run. The first Big Run will take place when the Salmonids invade the Wahoo World stage later this year.

If you’re an elite player you’ll want to check out X Battles. These require players to reach an elite rank in Anarchy Battles and risk X Power to challenge their way up the leaderboards. 

Three new weapons are being added to the game: a new Roller, Charger, and Shooter. There will also be ten returning weapons from previous Splatoon games including some with modified sets. 

New stages include Brinewater Springs and Flounder Heights which players will recognize from the very first Splatoon game. 

Let’s not forget about the cosmetic updates. There will be new gear, custom titles, victory emotes, stickers, and more with new gear and items in the shops.
