Spooky Trailer For a Gothic Irish Horror Thriller THE LODGERS

If you like spooky horror movies, I've got a trailer for a new Irish horror thriller for you to check out called The Lodgers. I love the creepy gothic atmospheric vibe of this trailer and it reminds me of horror films such as The Others and Crimson Peak, both of which I thought were great. 

The story is set in the 1920s and centers on sibling twins who live along in an old gothic mansion. Obviously, that mansion is haunted. Not only by supernatural forces but by its dark past. Here’s the official synopsis:

A gothic ghost story about orphaned twins Edward and Rachel who share a crumbling manor in 1920s rural Ireland. But they are not alone. They share the house with unseen entities who control them with three absolute rules. As separate fates draw them apart, the twins must face the terrible truth about their family’s ghostly tormentors.

The Lodgers was directed by Brian O’Malley, and it's set to make its debut at the Toronto International Film Festival, which starts on September 7th. It may be awhile before we see this movie released in theaters, but I'll definitely be watching it when it is! I love movies like this!
