Spooky Trailer for the Haunted House Horror Film A SAVANNAH HAUNTING Based on a True Story

Vertical Entertainment has released a trailer for a new indie horror film titled A Savannah Haunting. The movie was directed by Mark McCullough, and it’s a haunted house story that’s based on a true story of dark paranormal events that happened to him and his family.

To take things to another level, the film was shot at the actual haunted house where these sinister events took place. I thought that was pretty cool!

A Savannah Haunting “is based on real supernatural experiences director William Mark McCullough and his family endured in their Savannah home for decades. This chronicles the sinister forces trapped beneath the house and the turmoil wreaked upon the newest homeowners, the Rancourts, pushing the boundaries of their own sanity and safety.”

In the story, the family moves to Savannah, GA to escape the memory of their young daughter's tragic death. Once they are settled in their new home, the mother begins to have supernatural experiences that leads her to believe she is being haunted by her dead daughter. But there’s an old woman with ties to the home's slavery past who warns there may be darker, more sinister forces dwelling beneath the house.

The movie stars Gena Shaw, Tommi Rose, and Anna Harriette Pittman, and it looks like it could be a decent horror movie!

A Savannah Haunting will be released in select theaters and on VOD starting October 28th, 2022.
