Square Enix Drops New Trailers for OUTRIDERS and NIER REPLICANT at The Game Awards
Square Enix had two big announcements at The Game Awards. First, they dropped a battle-focused gameplay trailer for NieR Replicant ver. 1.22474487139. The game is an action-RPG set in a dark, apocalyptic world where you have to find the cure for a deadly disease to save your sister. It was also announced that you can pre-order different editions of the game to get pin badges, a Steelbook case, and more from the Square Enix store for $159.99. Fans can jump into the action on April 23, 2021, via PC, PS4, and Xbox One.
The game transports players to a dark, apocalyptic world where a young man embarks on a captivating quest to find the cure for his sister’s deadly disease – a quest that will make them question everything.
The other big news from the fan favorite studio was a new trailer for Outriders. This RPG-shooter from People Can Fly looks like it has a lot of potential as you run around shooting things. During the trailer, we learn the Mantras for Survival to help you get in the action. Outriders will be available for PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X|S on February 2, 2021, with a release on Stadia later in the year.
The new Game Awards trailer introduces players to the Mantras of Survival – a guide to help them thrive as a hyper-evolved Human on the unforgiving planet of Enoch, where the only way forward is to take charge of your own fate and Think Aggressive.
