SQUID GAME and THE ACOLYTE Star Lee Jung-jae Rumored to Be Up For Secret Marvel Role

Actor Lee Jung-jae, who is best known for his roles in Squid Game and The Acolyte, is rumored to be in talks to join the Marvel Cinematic Universe in an undisclosed role. Industry scooper MTTSH makes the claim (via CBM), but there aren’t any other details on who he might be in line to play.

There is also a chance he hasn’t been offered any one specific hero or villain role at this point. Marvel boss Kevin Feige has been known to reach out to actors he's keen to work with without having a particular character in mind, and it's also possible that Jung-jae was given a choice of several different roles.

This isn't actually the first time the actor has been rumored for a Marvel part, as there was some talk of him being in negotiations to play Mr. Negative in Sony's SSU last year, though clearly, nothing ever came of it.
