Stadia Adds Phone Link Feature and 5 New Free Games for Pro Subscribers

Last week, Stadia made some big additions to their service. Not only were 5 new games added to Stadia Pro including Control, but Phone Link was also integrated. Other games free to Stadia Pro subscribers include Hello Engineer which is available First on Stadia in Early Access, Cake Bash, Unto the End, and Spirit: Lucky’s Big Adventure.

Phone Link is a new feature for Stadia that allows you to turn your phone into a touch controller or use your favorite, compatible 3rd-party controllers through your phone so you can play Stadia on your TV. That’s right, you don’t need an official Stadia controller anymore. If you’re using a 3rd-party controller, simply connect it to your phone via USB or Bluetooth and then use the Stadia app to connect to your TV. Phone Link works with Chromecast Ultra, Google TV, and Android TV. This is exciting news that should open up access to a ton of new players.
