Stadia Launches Family Sharing and New Games This Week

Google Stadia has quite the news for the week. In addition to Assassin’s Creed Valhalla and Destiny 2: Beyond Light, a couple of other games are launching on the service this week, and they’re starting to roll out Family Sharing for Stadia. Fans of Destiny 2 should note that you have until November 19 to claim Destiny 2: The Collection before it’s no longer part of Stadia Pro. Once you claim it, you’ll have access as long as you’re a Stadia Pro member, even after November 19.

Family Sharing for Stadia is definitely going to be something that people are interested in. If you’re in a Google family group and have a Stadia account, you can share and access games in the libraries of other family group members. This includes if one person is a Stadia Pro subscriber, those games are shared as well. If the subscriber cancels their membership, everyone else on the plan naturally loses access.
